Veggie & Fruit Overload Challenge!!!!

Another thing I am really passionate about is food!! Not always the healthy kind either!¬† I have always been into healthy eating and nutrition since my college years when I learned a thing or two!! ūüėČ My goal for this week¬†¬†is to eat as many fruits and veggies as I can in hopes of keeping this a regular routine in our household. I don’t believe in diets, I believe in Lifestyle changes!¬†I also hope¬†to get my husband and children in on this Veggie and Fruit Overload. I have done my prep work and bought all my fresh produce yesterday from Aldi. Which by the way, has really great prices on produce and it is very fresh!! I usually do Trader Joes, but I am trying to put a¬†lifestyle change¬†on my budget too!! I¬†am¬†not against eating frozen produce either,¬†as long as there are no additives, preservatives, or added sugar in them.¬†My goal is to lose about 15 pounds but I am not putting a time and date on it. My main goal is to be healthy, have¬†more energy, and feel good in my clothes!!¬†I will take one day at a time. So off I go..¬†Monday day 1!!

Yesterday I cut up some cantaloupe and pineapple for the family. My 2 year-old and I ate some for breakfast this morning and it was delicious!! For lunch I am going to make some salads with turkey bacon, hard-boiled eggs, avocados, green onions, and tomatoes. Dinner tonight will be a crustless Quiche with feta cheese, spinach or broccoli, onions, and mushrooms. My mouth just started to drool!!
